What Could You Do With A 500 Gigabyte Micro-Holographic Disc

General Electric Company has just unveiled a new optical information storage technology which permits the inclusion of 500 Gigabytes of information in a standard DVD-size disc, made from a micro-holographic storage material. The discs will be written and recorded on devices similar to the existing Blu-ray or DVD players.
