openSUSE Project has announced the availability of openSUSE Linux distribution version 11.1, which comes with over 230 new features, many major improvements of GNOME, KDE and OpenOffice.org and a new license. openSUSE 11.1 has a new kernel and other updated components: Linux 2.6.27.7, Glibc 2.9, Python 2.6, Perl 5.10 and Mono 2.0.
